Imagine an open invitation party without fire - no cooked food yet all 600 guests had mouth-watering dinner of delicious raw food (prepared for at-least 800 people). This became reality on 2nd Feb 2020 in Kapurthala city of Punjab, India on the occasion of retirement party of Sh. H. R. Ashwani (father of Deepak Ashwani).

This is the healthiest diet that we can consume. We are what we eat.

We will be only able to design self-managed food forest, if we can consume perennial raw food directly. This initiative is a message to all that this can also be a way of life.

To know more about the retirement party or food forest, feel free to reach out at www.edibleforest.org.

'My Rat Race has Ended' - says Ravideep Singh, who has build a food forest in Pharwahi, outside of Barnala city in Punjab, India.

This Food Forest showing Ravideep Singh willingness and commitment of last 5 years. Building a food forest is as simple as leaving the land unattended, throwing fruit seeds, mixing various layers close to each other - climbers, crawlers, canopy trees, bushes, herbs, roots veggies together. If their is a will to live free - their is a way to self-sufficiency. Feed 10-12 people in just 1 acre of land.

Feel free to ask your questions about food forest in the comments and I will try to cover them in my next visits to other food forests.
